Side Effects of Objective Methods and Subjective Methods from the Efficacy of Intense Pulsed Light versus Benzoyl Peroxide 2.5% Gel in Treatment of Mild to Moderate Facial Acne Vulgaris in Iraqi Patients

Abstract

Acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory disorder of the pilosebaceous unit. Various options for acne treatment are available. However,
they have limitations such as late onset of therapeutic action, side effects of topical and systemic anti-acne drugs, resistance of P.acnes and
preference for high technical approaches have all led to the need for new, effective and safe modalities in acne treatment. This manuscript
evaluates the side effects of subjective and objective methods of treatment related to the Mild to Moderate Facial Acne Vulgaris in Iraqi
patients.
