Abstract

Background  Recent reports confirm the anti inflammatory role of 3 azabicyclononane ringb ased phytochemicals derived from a variety of plant alkaloids. We recently synthesized and established preliminary cytotoxic activities on different cancer cell lines. Further to characterize this novel 2  4Diaryl 6  7 benzo azabicyclo nonan 9 ones  compound that has similar structure of curcumin and piperdine derivative hence in this we unravelled the mechanism of anti-inflammatory effect in carrageenan-induced  hind paw inflammation in rat model.
