Abstract

Older persons frequently get urinary tract infections (UTIs), which can develop more serious, potentially diseases. It is belived that
aging –related physiological changes are a cause in the higher frequency of UTI recurrence in older persons .unfortunately there aren’t
many ways to prevent UTI in older persons, and using Antibiotics to do so can have lot of unfavourable effect. Because it function as
urinary antiseptic and produce safely formal ehyde to inhibit bacterial., methenamine has been suggested as a beneficial medication
for the prevention of UTI.
