Abstract

 “a study to assess the perception towards utilization of community health nursing bag among students in selected nursing colleges of Sangli, Miraj and Kupwad corporation area “The purpose of the study was to assess the perception of nursing students towards utilization of community health nursing bags, with the following objectives To find out the perception of nursing students towards utilization of community health nursing bags. Research methodology

The research design used for the present study is descriptive research design. Sampling technique used was stratified random sampling. Population selected were students from different nursing colleges. Total sample size was 176. Data collection was done by self-structured perception rating scale. Results and conclusion Majority of the 172 (97.73%) were from age group 19-25 years and 4 (2.27%) from age Group 26-35 years. The result depicts that, in the study37 (21.02%) were male’s and137 (78.98%) were females. Above table and following figure depicts that, in the study 25% were from Basic B.Sc. Nursing, 25% from P.B.B.Sc. nursing, 25% from ANM and 25% of them from G.N.M. course.

5 (11.06%) Basic B.Sc.(N) students in selected nursing colleges had negative perception and 39 (88.64%) had positive perception regarding utilization of community health nursing bag.,P.B.B.Sc.(n) students in selected nursing colleges had negative perception and all 44 (100%) had positive perception regarding utilization of community health nursing bag. None of the G.N.M. students in selected nursing colleges had negative perception and all 44 (100%) had positive perception regarding utilization of community health nursing bag. No one of A.N.M. students Selected nursing colleges had negative perception and all 44 (100%) had positive perception regarding utilization of community.
