Abstract

Today, chronic or non-communicable diseases are at the top of the causes of death in many countries of the world and have been described as modern epidemics of the 20th century. Therefore, the present study was conducted with the aim of examining medical services in diabetic and cardiovascular and blood pressure patients with radiology point.

Methods: The current research is a cross-sectional descriptive-analytical study with the aim of examining medical services in diabetic and cardiovascular and blood pressure patients with radiology point it was conducted in 2022. The study population consisted of diabetic, cardiovascular and hypertensive patients referred to Imam Khomeini Hospital in Tehran, taking into account the prevalence rate of 3.5% according to previous studies.

Results: In the present study, the prevalence of hypertension was 34.6% in women and 65.4% in men.  The prevalence of diabetes was reported to be 49% in women and 51% in men.  The prevalence of cardiovascular diseases was 28.9% in women and 69.1% in men.

Conclusion: Due to the prevalence of diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and blood pressure, medical services in the field of point radiology have many uses for doctors to diagnose and sometimes treat patients.
