The present aim at utilization of the herbal plants, such as Ginkgo biloba, Bacopa monnieri which have capability to cure ischemic brain stroke & neurodegenerative disease. To develop a formulation called nanospheres using biodegradable polymer chitosan along with extracts of Ginkgo biloba, Bacopa monnieri. To perform the therapeutic activity (oxidative stress in brain) of developed formulation through anti-oxidant assays using SK-N-SH cells. The process has been broken down into three distinct phases: collecting plant powders, preparing ethanolic extract of plant powder by heat maceration, and finally formulating nanospheres. After that, the antioxidant capacity was calculated in vitro using a battery of tests that included the nitric oxide radical inhibition method, the DPPH radical scavenging method, the ABTS radical scavenging activity, the scavenging of super oxide radical using alkaline DMSO, the scavenging of P-DNA radicals, the scavenging of hydrogen peroxide radicals, and the estimation of total antioxidant capacity. The nanospheres which have been formulated showed good anti-oxidant activity in comparison with their crude forms.
