The Study of Chinese Film Music Communication in the New Century

Abstract

Since 1930, when the first Chinese film music was created, Chinese film music has, after a century of refinement and development, become an art form with a high level of activity and attention in the fields of film and music, and has also occupied an important position in the field of academic research. In the new century, with the advancement of technology and culture, Chinese film music has taken on new developments, forming a more diverse and rich musical style, and new characteristics in the dissemination of film music. This paper concludes that the creative orientation and dissemination effects of Chinese film music in the new century are positively correlated with six factors: the subject of Chinese film music, its historical context, stylistic features, functional characteristics, dissemination media and audience groups.
