Abstract

This study focused on the Profiling of Researches Conducted in DMMMSU - SLUC from 2013 - 2019, specifically describing the profile as to academic rank, gender, field of specialization and methodology used as to research type, research design, data gathering tool and statistical tool. Descriptive research design is utilized wherein completed research of faculty members in the last seven years from 2013 to 2019 were considered. Data were presented and analyzed accordingly, comprising descriptive statistics to describe the faculty members' personal profiles and methodology used. These tools were used to process data collected and managed using MS Excel.  Results showed that 54% of the faculty members who are the principal authors are instructors, 52% of them are female, 31% are Mathematically inclined and  40% of the principal authors were from CAS.  In addition, 34% of the researchers were completed in 2016, 94% of them used quantitative type of research, 76% utilized quantitative - descriptive and 96% of the researches also used questionnaire in data gathering.  Further, it showed that 70% researchers used Measures of Central Tendency as statistical tool such as mean, median and mode.
