Abstract

Early childhood caries (ECC) is a prevalent dental condition affecting preschool children. Extensive oral restorations are often required in cases of ECC. In the past extractions were done for teeth that could not be restored with crowns. Previously post and core restorations have been used in paediatric patients. A case has been presented in a 5-year-old child with multiple deep carious lesions, restored with the help of a simple chairside technique, using omega posts.
