Cephalometric Scientific And Comparative Characteristics Of Architectonics Of Representatives Of Kazakh And Uzbek Ethnic Groups Living In Kazakhstan
Background: In the literature available to us, we have not found reports devoted to the study of the features of the structure and aesthetic perception of the face of different ethnic groups of residents of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in which aesthetic dentistry, maxillofacial and plastic surgery have been rapidly developing over the past 20-3 years. Therefore, the object of our research were representatives of the two main indigenous peoples of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Kazakhs and Uzbeks belonging to different ethnic groups.
Materials and methods: 320 citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan and 217 citizens of the Russian Federation took part in the study. Photogrammetric analysis of facial images was carried out according to the methodology of V. N. Trezubov, R. A. Fadeev, O. V. Dmitrieva (2018) using the computer automated program "Harmony" developed by them. The file with the image of the studied face was entered into special fields of the computer program "Harmony", after which the main cephalometric (photogrammetric) points were placed on the image of the face.
Results: The results of our study revealed the absence of a significant difference in photogrammetry data in Uzbek men and Russian men, in Uzbek women and Russian women who participated in the study. The similarity of the architectonics of the face of the Uzbeks with the architectonics of the face of the Russians confirms the opinion of a number of anthropologists and historians who believe that the Uzbek ethnos was formed as a result of the convergence and partial merger of the settled Iranian-speaking and nomadic, mainly Turkic-speaking population.
Conclusions: A significant difference in the architectonics of the face was revealed according to photogrammetry data among representatives of the Kazakh and Uzbek ethnic groups of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan. A significant difference in the average value of the studied photogrammetric parameters was more common in Kazakh and Uzbek women.
