Abstract

The article considers the structure of risk factors for vascular diseases of the brain in the open population of people of working age in the southern region of Kazakhstan, recommendations for planning the optimal system of preventive measures at the level of primary health care. High prevalence rates of risk factors for cerebral circulatory disorders were found in people of working age, with the most common being arterial hypertension, atherosclerosis, coronary heart disease, overweight and obesity, diabetes mellitus, low physical activity, anxiety and depression, as well as genealogical burden for cardiovascular diseases. There is an insufficient level of primary prevention of cerebrovascular pathology, especially at the stage of its preclinical forms, when the identification and modification of the main risk factors is the basis for preventing the development of vascular catastrophes.
