QUALITY OF LIFE OF THE ENTREPRENEURS: THE MEDIATING EFFECT OF SELF-EFFICACY

Entrepreneurs are those, who can turn bold ideas and innovations into reality. Every entrepreneur in the entire world has the equal opportunity towards the success of their own business. Though, everyone has opportunities to succeed in their business, it is essential to have a quality of life as a successful entrepreneur and to make their business potential. Irrespective of the types of entrepreneurs such as Innovative, Imitating, Fabian and Drone Entrepreneurs, the business of an entrepreneur may become shallow without the presence of an important factor like Self-Efficacy. Self-Efficacy is determined as the level of confidence that an entrepreneur has their own entrepreneurial capacity in ways necessary to reach certain goals.
The purpose of this study is to unfold whether Quality of life can be influenced by education, need for achievement, independence and self-efficacy on micro-entrepreneurs in kerala, india. This research has a quantitative approach with the usage of path analysis. This research is carried out with a set of adopted questionnaire having a 5-point Likert scale involving primary data. The sample size of this study is 60 respondents. Simple random sampling method is used in this study giving equal chance to all the respondents to be selected. The results of this study showed that Quality of life shall be influenced by education, need for achievement, independence and self-efficacy. It also showed self-efficacy have a mediating effect between education, need for achievement and independence on quality of life.
