Abstract

In order to expand the knowledge of dermatologists, this article presents the results of a study based on the main aspects of the application of an innovative
method of treatment using a mud mask "FATIDERM-M" in sick children with infiltrative-suppurative form of trichophytosis. The additional inclusion
of mineralized mud mask with the background traditional therapy in sick children demonstrates a high effectiveness of the treatment (97.5%-100%)
regardless of the location of the pathological process (scalp or smooth skin). This was confirmed by an earlier regression of clinical manifestations,
reduction in the persistence term of mycosis infection and the time patients stay in the hospital.
